Tonic to brain: A study carried out by scientists in the USA found that the mental focus achieved during Ramadan increases the level of brain-derived neurotrophic factor, which causes the body to produce more brain cells, thus improving brain function.

Good habits: If you are following the rules of Islam and Ramadan seriously, you will ditch all the bad habits including smoking and drinking for whole one month. This is the best time to leave these habits permanently.

Reduce cholesterol: Reduction of cholesterol in the blood is one of the positive outcomes of fasting during Ramadan. This will improve cardiovascular health and reduces risk of heart diseases.
